The RackStation RS819 4-Bay NAS Enclosure from Synology brings business workgroups simple, comprehensive solutions to data management, sharing, synchronization, and backup. This RackStation sports four bays that can accommodate your 3.5" and 2.5" SATA hard drives and SSDs. To manage the data, DSM operating system, and apps, Synology has armed this NAS with a 1.4 GHz Realtek RTD1296 Quad-Core processor, as well as 2GB of DDR4 RAM.
It features a 1 RU form factor and connects to your network via two Gigabit Ethernet ports. For uninterruptible services, the networking ports offer failover and link-aggregation support.

The RackStation RS819 4-Bay NAS Enclosure from Synology brings business workgroups simple, comprehensive solutions to data management, sharing, synchronization, and backup. This RackStation sports four bays that can accommodate your 3.5" and 2.5" SATA hard drives and SSDs. To manage the data, DSM operating system, and apps, Synology has armed this NAS with a 1.4 GHz Realtek RTD1296 Quad-Core processor, as well as 2GB of DDR4 RAM. It features a 1 RU form factor and connects to your network via two Gigabit Ethernet ports. For uninterruptible services, the networking ports offer failover and link-aggregation support. Other notable connections include one eSATA port and two USB 3.0 Type-A ports, so you can expand the RS819's capabilities with external storage drives, printers, and more. In addition, it lets you configure the drives in a RAID array, set up iSCSI LUNs, and encrypt the data using the AES-NI hardware encryption engine. This NAS supports a single volume size of up to 108TB.

The Synology RackStation RS819 is 1 RU, 4-bay rackmount network-attached storage solution for business workgroups. Its compact 12" depth chassis design supports 2-post racks and brings high flexibility to server deployment.Equipped with a 1.4 GHz Quad-Core 64-bit processor, 2GB of DDR4 memory, and two Gigabit LAN ports, the RS819 delivers sequential reading and writing throughput at over 225 MB/s and 169 MB/s, respectively, with encrypted reads at over 224 MB/s reading and encrypted writes at over 152 MB/s. These make the RS819 an efficient shared storage for multiple users, while keeping valuable data secure and away from potential threats.
The RS819 also provides storage scalability up to 8 drives when connected to one Synology RX418 expansion unit. Its storage capacity can be expanded with minimal effort.
Cross-Platform File Sharing and Data Synchronization
