The 1.7x Extender transfers lens metadata to select cameras using ARRI's LDS-2 (Lens Data System) protocol. This extender attaches between the camera's LPL mount and the LPL mount of the lens. It weighs 1.3 lb and adds 1.4" to the length of the lens when mounted.
