This compact plate features an optically centered 15mm LWS rod block and a small shoulder pad, which allow you to quickly balance, mount, and unmount the camera for different rig setups. The increase in comfort gained when using a shoulder pad can translate into extended shooting time. This pad is designed with four "legs" that allow the camera rig to rest on a flat surface without the pad itself touching down, diminishing wear and tear on the pad.
